An Expert Advise for Success

     People have been through a lot of heartaches and failures not because of incompetence but lack of good (godly) advisers and mentors. If you want success this 2014, seek and listen to the advise of those have been experienced success, know their ways and follow it. Let us take a look on a man named Joshua who fought the battles and able to overcome.

SURE WIN:
1. You have seen...the Lord Fights For You v. 3
-remember how the Lord helped you with your past challenges.
-your past victories are monument (remembrance) of God's faithfulness and power.
-God is trustworthy above anything else.

2. You shall possess...as the Lord Promised You v.5
-with God success is not an option it is our destiny.
-with God growth, increase, wealth, health, provision, diploma, house and lot, car, disciples are on the way.
-Jesus said, "I have come that you may have life and have it to the full." (John 10:10)

3.You shall chase  (defeat a thousand)...the Lord fights for you. v.10
-your enemy will run away from you, you will not in the defense mode but you will be the one to attack.
-intentionally you will conquer and reach your goal. (growth, disciples, lead the group of people, promotion, expansion, degree, business)
-you will no longer driven by fear for your confidence is in the Lord
-you will attack every opportunity (challenges).

 THINGS TO DO:
1. Be very courageous to keep and do God's Instructions (Follow His Word)
- fear paralyzes
- fear comes from listening to negative opinions v. 6
- faith comes from hearing the Word of God (God's  Promises). Listen to God's for they are encouraging and healing words. They will give you hope.

2. Be God your God (no other gods) v. 7
- no double mind or doubting, for "with God nothing is impossible."
- your dedication to God is not base on the blessings but commitment.
- value GOD in your life by giving importance to what is important to Him.
- seeking the Lord and serving Him, as Joshua said, "choose for yourselves whom you will serve but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. 

3. Be very careful to love your God. v. 11
- your commitment to God is not driven by stirred up emotion, moods, feelings but by TRUTH AND UNDERSTANDING.

4. Guard your soul....do not compromise v.12
5. Remain in God's covenant....do not leave God's covenant v.16
6. Stay serving the Lord...do not serve other gods. v. 16

REMEMBER:
1. NO PROMISE OF GOD FAILED v. 14
2. EVERY PROMISE HAS BEEN FULFILLED v. 14

Joshua 3:5 (NIV)  Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.”

 ³ You yourselves have seen everything the Lord your God has done to all these nations for your sake; it was the Lord your God who fought for you. ⁴ Remember how I have allotted as an inheritance for your tribes all the land of the nations that remain—the nations I conquered—between the Jordan and the Mediterranean Sea in the west. ⁵ The Lord your God himself will push them out for your sake. He will drive them out before you, and you will take possession of their land, as the Lord your God promised you.
⁶ “Be very strong; be careful to obey all that is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, without turning aside to the right or to the left. ⁷ Do not associate with these nations that remain among you; do not invoke the names of their gods or swear by them. You must not serve them or bow down to them. ⁸ But you are to hold fast to the Lord your God, as you have until now.
⁹ “The Lord has driven out before you great and powerful nations; to this day no one has been able to withstand you. ¹⁰ One of you routs a thousand, because the Lord your God fights for you, just as he promised. ¹¹ So be very careful to love the Lord your God.
¹² “But if you turn away and ally yourselves with the survivors of these nations that remain among you and if you intermarry with them and associate with them, ¹³ then you may be sure that the Lord your God will no longer drive out these nations before you. Instead, they will become snares and traps for you, whips on your backs and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from this good land, which the Lord your God has given you.
¹⁴ “Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed. ¹⁵ But just as all the good things the Lord your God has promised you have come to you, so he will bring on you all the evil things he has threatened, until the Lord your God has destroyed you from this good land he has given you. ¹⁶ If you violate the covenant of the Lord your God, which he commanded you, and go and serve other gods and bow down to them, the Lord’s anger will burn against you, and you will quickly perish from the good land he has given you.”
